RC Engine Cleaning

Castor and synthetic oil based fuels used in nitro engines has a nasty habbit of turning a shiney new engine into a gooey mess in no time at all and trying to clean them properly is nothing short of a nightmare, especially where the cooling fins around the muffler are concerned.

Add to this the deposits that accumulate inside your engine and the task of effectively cleaning these precision power plants becomes a mountainous job and one which is consequently "Left till later" in most cases - Too much later!

Please note: This process is not suitable for some engines with anodised finishes as it can dull the gloss of the anodising!

A small investment will restore your engine's appearance and internal cleanliness to it's former glory thereby extending it's life and maintaining it's re-sale value, should you wish to sell it on. A dirty engine can attract less than 50% of the re-sale price of a clean one!

Our three stage process involves an ultrasonic cleaning cycle which breaks down all external and internal deposits, this is followed by a visit to our "Aqua Bead Blasting" unit where, utilising a non invasive, water suspended glass bead blasting process, we restore the external finish of your engine to that "Just out of the box" lustre.

Finally, we treat your engine to a thorough wash down and air-blast drying before it is lightly oiled and packaged for return to you.

Whilst we have your engine, we would be happy to replace any worn bearings or carry out any repairs at your request. Please ask us for a quote.
